With the help of some deeply talented creative minds at Braintrust, I oversaw the creation of some wonderful narratives across multiple verticals. I developed the name, identity, and/or strategy for each of the below brands and in doing so, I found my professional calling - writing unique and compelling brand stories.

STRATEGY &
BRAND IDENTITY
Flemington, New Jersey is undergoing a transformation from a city of the past to a destination of the future. At the center of that evolution is the renovation of a famous local icon – The Union Hotel. My goal was to capture the rich history of the community and blend it with a more modern spirit that connects with contemporary consumers.
NAME &
BRAND IDENTITY
A 30 year-old aviation company in Las Vegas asked me to help them reintroduce themselves to the market and reposition the business. So, I interviewed their pilots, evaluated their competitors, and identified their essence. In the end, I was able to create a name and brand that elegantly identified who they were and demonstrated the unique airspace their brand could occupy.

I first wrote for brand with Braintrust in 2019 and helped craft their internal and external target language. I’m lucky enough to still work with their Marketing and Vision teams to create strategies and solutions for their future. Not to mention, they’re wonderful and passionate people that approach their job with the same disruptive grit that I do.

My mission was to create a brand for a destination in Tunica, Mississippi that appealed to those seeking the accommodations, atmosphere, and activities of a vacation resort. So, I flew to Memphis, drove 30-minutes south, and absorbed the culture to cultivate a name and brand that achieves that mission.
NAME &
BRAND IDENTITY
Naming and branding a hotel in downtown Tempe, Arizona isn’t as easy as you’d think. Multiple factors played a role including the diverse competitive set, college and traveler targets, and the history of Arizona and Tempe. We weren’t able to move forward with the deep dive, but the name, concept and copy are all worthy of notice.
